All Saints, Swanton Morley, Norfolk. 1990.

R.A.F. Swanton Morley commissioned this window to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the link between the village and the station.

This beautiful flint perpendicular church has a great deal of plain ‘quarried’ glazing.

This design considers this by utilising a large proportion of hand blown reamy and seedy glass to the left and right hand lights.

The centre light depicts a red cross on top of which appears the sword of St. Michael and surrounding this are a collection of squadron badges.

Within the tracery are images of aircraft historically linked with the station.
