I have been designing & making stained glass for twenty years & have work installed in over thirty buildings across the UK.

The craft of painted and stained glass has changed little over several hundred years.

The commissioning process continues to offer exciting opportunities, matching this historical medium with contemporary design solutions.

Work illustrated here is selective of this very close relationship between the donor & artist.

Each design is distinctively unique to  both the clients wishes & the architectural space, utilizing religious symbolism through figurative & abstracted colour & form.

Concurrent with my design commissions I have since 1984 undertaken the restoration of historical glass within the studio.

I have experience of working on stained glass dating from the C13-C20.

From 1995-2000 I was a member of the stained glass restoration department at Lincoln Cathedral.
